Meet Tamara
My name is Tamara Di Tella, the creator of the New Method of Tamara Di Tella.
First of all, thank you all for visiting my website and for the worlds of support and prize you give me . It is a real pleasure receiving so many mails!.
I am proud to announce that this year we’ve presented The New Method of Tamara Di Tella –Tango Pilates® and Tangolates® — to the World’s Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland (WHO). This is an honor for that I wanted to share with all of you!
Let me tell you a bit about myself. Although I do not live in Argentina right now, I am the C.E.O of a Buenos Aires-based international company dedicated to health and fitness for the last 20 years; and to pilates franchising for the last 10 years. We are some sixty five franchises now, divided into three main categories: 1) Franchises, 2) Licensees and 3) Authorized by…
A few of them are in Argentina, but many are in countries as varied as Germany, Italy, Australia, United States, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, etc., etc.
I published 10 books and 9 DVD’s. My Pilates Videos aired on T.V. (not Amazon). You can see them HERE or HERE
I live in Europe now, where The New Method of Tamara Di Tella – Tangolates® Tango-Pilates® is growing among Pilates Studio Owners who wish to incorporate new concepts into their facilities. Tango Pilates® comes with its own Apparatus DI TELLA® and has got excellent reviews in THE WASHINGTON POST among other important magazines and newspapers in Europe, Brazil, Italy, among other countries.
I am proud to say that, as far as pilates education is concerned, we are the oldest and most prominent non-foreign pilates reformer School of Training in the Spanish speaking world.
And since 2004, year in which we opened our own Rehabilitation Ward in a Hospital, many pilates students seek their certification at the Tamara Di Tella School of Training to have access to Hands-on Practice with Patients with dysfunctions of the motor system.
I think this is an outstanding experience that makes us special. Working with patients is a great and most rewarding experience for our students.
My father was a tenured professor of Neuropsychiatry at the Medical School of University of Buenos Aires many years ago, and I must admit I love hospital work and feel very comfortable in the academic and scientific community.
Yet, I also must admit that in this ever-growing fitness world, my latest contribution The New Method of Tamara Di Tella –Tango Pilates® and Tangolates® — is what most people want now, in part because it is endorsed by celebrities like Sting, Bryan Adams and the American Ballet Company’s Idol, Julio Bocca, and because it originated within the medical community.
I am a firm believer in Social Responsibility. I always advice professionals to make donations to hospitals where people with disabilities and injuries can benefit and improve their quality of life.
My very best to all of you and thank you one again for your compliments!
